NIGERIAN STUDENTS BUILDS SOLAR-POWERED CAR

Determind to reach his goal and reduce cost of buying a new car,Segun Oyeyiola a final year student of OAU(Obafemi Awolowo University) developed a car that uses solar energy as its power source.After been discouraged several time by everyone,he kept his faith and continued pressing hard.According to source, the young man starved himself over 10-years toenable him  raise money to complete his project.He wasnt't really the sharp type in his early years in school and was always been talked to by his lecturers.He had always promised to do something that will make everyone change the way they think about him.

He also stated how he persuaded his father not to sell his VOLKSWAGEN BEETLE car he bought in the 60's which he used in his project.He added his solar powered car is yet to be perfect but can be used.He also stated how he grew more courage after seeing the Electric Cars made in China and Russia and believed nigeria could also invent there's with  his solar powered car project.
  He concluded appealing to the government to assist him in developing a better one for nigerians and also added hes not going to another country to develop his ideas as every of his work will be done on nigeria soil to provide a cheaper transportation and a Car Invention from Nigeria.
